This timer starts at 32 minutes for a Reading and Writing module. Use the Time button to switch to 35 minutes for Math.
How to use the SAT Timer
- For Reading and Writing, keep the timer at 32 minutes and press start.
- For Math, press Time, set 35 minutes, then start.
- Between the Reading and Writing section and the Math section, take a 10 minute break, just like test day.
- Review your mistakes after each practice module, not during it.

How to practice pacing
Time pressure is a skill you can train. Do full modules with the timer running, mark questions that take too long, and come back to them at the end. Over a few weeks, track how many questions you finish per module. A timed practice habit matters as much as content review.
